The Fibonacci Spiral

  The spiral grows through twilight and through years,

  Like comets fading through the cosmic night.

  Its unseen hand commands beyond our fears,

  And guides the stars toward their appointed light.

  Da Vinci traced its pathway long ago,

  In ocean tides and in the heavens high.

  He found its mark wherever winds might blow,

  Beneath the sea and in the endless sky.

  And where men see but deserts bleak and bare,

  Where silence guards its treasures out of sight,

  The seeds of future wealth are hidden there,

  Awaiting only their appointed light.

  And when the crowds come searching for the flame,

  For clues to fortunes others found before,

  The spiral will have turned and changed its name,

  And left them listening to a distant shore.
