INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY

Current Appointment

Since July 2024, Aleksei Andrievskii has served as a member of the Advisory Board of Bendura Bank AG, Liechtenstein.

With more than twenty-five years of experience in investment and private banking, he has advised entrepreneurs, investors, and internationally mobile families on preserving, managing, and growing capital across changing economic cycles.

The Journey: From Ground to Capital

Originally trained as a mining engineer, Aleksei learned early that the most valuable things are not always found on the surface.

Long before a career in finance, he was drawn to the stories of explorers and prospectors searching for opportunity where others saw only uncertainty.

The years that followed would bring university studies, entrepreneurial ventures, a career in finance, and work alongside leading financial institutions in Switzerland, Andorra, and Liechtenstein.

The linen backpack of his geological years has long since been exchanged for a Bally briefcase acquired at the beginning of his banking career. Yet both served the same purpose: carrying the essentials while searching for things of lasting value.

Investment Philosophy

Aleksei Andrievskii’s investment philosophy is founded upon independent judgement, personal responsibility, and long-term thinking. His preference is for ownership rather than speculation, for businesses rather than stories, and for substance rather than excitement.

In an increasingly complex financial world, Aleksei has consistently favoured transparency over complexity. His preference is for direct ownership of carefully selected shares and bonds rather than investment structures that introduce additional layers of complexity, counterparty exposure, and dependency on third parties.

Particular attention is also paid to the quality of the currency in which capital is invested. In Aleksei’s view, every investment should be assessed not only by its expected return, but also by the long-term stability of the monetary system behind it.

The Human Element

Technology and analytical tools continue to evolve. They remain valuable instruments. Yet investment decisions ultimately begin with human judgement, experience, and the ability to distinguish enduring value from temporary enthusiasm.

Throughout shifting markets, Aleksei’s commitment remains absolute: to consistently honour and justify the trust clients place in his expertise.
