10 Years of the BENDURA Brand — The Next Chapter

From One Generation to the Next — Built on a Decade of Trust, Looking Ahead to the Next Ten Years

To our clients, our future clients, and even our sceptics, I would say one thing: look at what has already been built — and look at the numbers.

Ten years of BENDURA is about far more than the development of a banking brand. It is a story of continuity, trust and relationships that increasingly pass from one generation to the next.

In private banking, capital may open the door. But trust is what carries a relationship across generations.

The latest results show that BENDURA enters its second decade with strong momentum. In the first half of 2026, BENDURA BANK attracted CHF 288.7 million in net new money, while assets under management exceeded CHF 4.6 billion for the first time. Assets under discretionary management and investment advisory mandates increased by 37%.

Numbers matter. But what stands behind them matters even more. A balance sheet measures capital. Time measures trust.

For me, as a member of the Advisory Board of BENDURA BANK AG, this is perhaps the best way to mark BENDURA’s first decade: with respect for what has been built over the past ten years, and with confidence in what we can build together over the next ten.

On 22 September, we celebrated this special milestone — the 10th anniversary of the BENDURA brand.

Anniversaries naturally invite us to look back. But the ones that truly matter are not only about remembering the past. They give us an opportunity to ask a more important question: what are we going to do with the next ten years?

Our CEO, Philipp Forster, reminded us that BENDURA’s success has always been built around people — our clients, our colleagues and all those who have contributed to the Bank’s journey over the years.

A bank can be built on capital, expertise and technology. Reputation is built differently: decision by decision, client by client, year by year.

Our Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Wenz, reflected on BENDURA’s journey and on the values, commitment and collective effort that have shaped the Bank throughout these years.

The words of our Board members gave that message even greater weight. One thought from our Chairman, Hon Kwok Lung, stayed with me in particular: his hope that, ten years from now, we will gather again to celebrate BENDURA’s 20th anniversary and see just how much further we have travelled — together with his commitment to continue following and supporting the Bank’s development along the way.

For me, his words captured the spirit of the evening perfectly:

Ten years is not a destination. It is proof that the foundations have held — and an invitation to keep building.

That is the real meaning of a milestone. It tells us not only how far we have come, but how much further we are now capable of going.

For me, being part of this journey is both a privilege and a responsibility. Because past success does not give us permission to stand still. On the contrary, the stronger the legacy we inherit, the greater our responsibility for the legacy we leave behind.

My sincere thanks to Philipp Forster, CEO of BENDURA BANK AG; Anatolijs Natorcha, Managing Director and Head of Private Banking Eastern Europe Desk; Hon Kwok Lung, Chairman of the Board of Directors; to my colleagues and, above all, to our clients — for their trust, partnership and for sharing this journey with us.

Happy 10th anniversary, BENDURA.

Here’s to the next chapter. To the next ten years. And to meeting again at the 20th anniversary — stronger, wiser and further along the road we started together.

Because, after all, the first ten years build the story. The next ten define the legacy.
